“It all began when we started thinkin’. Today’s country music sucks because it’s controlled more by the producers and record labels, than by the damn singers and songwriters.

They say the original Outlaw Movement's momentum has mostly died down. We grew up during the original outlaw movement and have recently been re-energizing it and keeping with the "outlaw spirit".

“Why do you call the band God’s Outlaw? When asked by Ma, “You don’t have any warrants do you?” I had to reflect back to explain with out giving too much information and makin’ her worry. Johnny Cash was a seeker. He would pick up his guitar and go sing somewhere, anywhere, just to make himself and people happy. Or not so happy.

Listening to classic country music on the porch while hangin’ out with the ol’ neighbor Troy, a few beers and a few bar fights later, I felt inspired by real country artists I heard like Cash, Haggard, Coe and Waylon. I thought I could strum a pretty good flat-top-box and sing like an angry blue bird once in a while. So why not play for the people who like that classic country twang? I began teaching myself them there songs and playing in the local Milwaukee pubs out of the pure satisfaction for the raw, emotional sounds of that era.

Good friends never die. And so my buddy E Man joined me, pickin’ and a grinnin’ his electric twangler. Now with shows throughout the Midwest, our set list exploded into what it is today. A live country music experience like a barrel full of gun-powder. Or a song hallard through the Red River Valley.

You don’t have to live in Nashville to play the roots of country music.”
